What we inspect

If it inflates and children play on it or with it, we can almost certainly test it. Here's the list, and what to do about the things that fall outside it.

RPII Testing Covers

All items are tested to BE EN 14960

  • Bouncy castles

    Standard children's castles through to adult units, themed castles and disco-enabled inflatables.

  • Slides and bounce-and-slide

    Combi units, platform slides and standalone inflatable slides at every platform height.

  • Obstacle and assault courses

    Single and double-lane courses, fun runs, and long multi-section units.

  • Disco domes

    Enclosed domes with lighting and sound, including the electrical side of the fit-out.

  • Multiplay and combi units

    Units combining bounce area, slide, climb and basketball features.

  • Bungee runs and duels

    Bungee runs, gladiator duels, leap of faith and similar competitive inflatables.

Outside of Part 1

Still inspected, still reported, still evidence of due diligence.

  • Soft play and ball pools

    Soft play sets, ball pits and toddler areas, checked against the relevant standards for the equipment.

  • Non ride-on games

    Basketball shootouts, penalty shootouts, hoopla, target zones and other inflatable games.

  • Sealed inflatables

    Constant-air and sealed units that sit outside EN 14960, inspected on a bespoke basis.

  • Gazebos and structures

    Frame gazebos and event structures assessed for condition, ballast and safe erection.

  • Pool and water inflatables

    Aqua parks, pool floats and water-based units, which have their own hazards and their own checks.

  • Bouncing pillows and jump bags

    Airbags, jump bags and bouncing pillows, including the fencing, fall zones and clearances around them.

PAT testing while we're there

Every blower we inspect gets PAT tested as part of the job. If you've got other electricals in the van or the store, whether that's extension leads, candy floss machines, sound gear or lighting rigs, say so when you book and we'll do those at the same time.

It's cheaper than a separate call-out, and it means one folder of certificates rather than three.

We test bouncy castles, slides, obstacle courses, disco domes, soft play and ball pools to BS EN 14960-1:2019, and we come to you anywhere across the Midlands. One unit or a full fleet, and we work all year round so your kit is tested when it isn't earning.
