Midland Play Inspections was set up by Luke, who has been hiring inflatables out across Warwickshire since 2011.

Why this exists

Fifteen years on the other side of the clipboard

Luke started hiring bouncy castles out as a family business in 2011 and has been doing it ever since, through hundreds of parties, school fetes, village hall bookings and corporate events across Warwickshire, from a fleet that's grown a bit every year.

That means fifteen years of being inspected rather than inspecting. Of booking tests around a season that doesn't stop. Of chasing reports that never arrived, and of turning up to a venue that wanted to see a tag that was still in the van.

Midland Play Inspections is the inspection service he wanted as an operator: someone who turns up when they said, explains what they found, and gets the paperwork over quickly enough to be useful.

How we work

  • We turn up

    A confirmed date is a confirmed date. If something changes you'll hear it from us first, not after you've waited in.

  • Plain English

    No standards-speak. If a unit fails you'll understand why, and what will fix it, before we leave.

  • Fast paperwork

    Reports out within days, not weeks. You can't sell a booking on a report that hasn't arrived.

  • No favours

    Nothing gets a pass it hasn't earned. A pass that's handed out cheaply is worth nothing to anyone holding one.

  • We work round the season

    Winter and midweek dates, because nobody wants their best castle off the road on an August Saturday.

  • The price is the price

    A fixed figure in writing before we set off, with travel in it. No call-out charge and nothing added on the day.

Where we're based

Lighthorne Heath, just outside Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. It puts Coventry, Birmingham, Rugby, Stratford and Banbury all inside an easy run, and most of the Midlands within a morning.

Annual inspections, booked round your season

We test bouncy castles, slides, obstacle courses, disco domes, soft play and ball pools to BS EN 14960-1:2019, and we come to you anywhere across the Midlands. One unit or a full fleet, and we work all year round so your kit is tested when it isn't earning.
