Below is our case study on the tests we conduct for our own business Best Party Hire.
What we went out to do
Best Party Hire based in Leamington Spa has around 20 bouncy castles, including standard castles, combi castles and fun runs, plus approximately 10 other inflatables, such as football shootouts, ball pools and Grand Prix tracks.
As we run the business ourselves, we carry out tests on an ad hoc basis. This works well for us, as we can test when the weather is good or when we have enough time before a hire starts.

Recent Testing: Airquee Adult Castle
Recently, we tested an adult bouncy castle from Airquee. Like many of the Airquee inflatables we have tested, it passed without any issues. The air pressure measured 1.3 kPa, and all the stitching and artwork were in good condition.
This first test took me an hour, although I was also filming and taking photographs. I have since carried out another test, which took just 20 minutes—the time I would typically expect an inspection of a simple bouncy castle to take.
We also PAT tested the inflation fan and fly lead while carrying out the bouncy castle inspection.
